Terms of Participation & Legal Waiver

By booking a session with Reiki West Los Angeles, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following terms:

1. Voluntary Participation

You are choosing to participate in energy healing or wellness services willingly and at your own risk. You understand that results may vary and no outcome is guaranteed.

2. Health & Responsibility

You affirm that you are in good health and capable of participating in energy-based or movement-based sessions, and will inform the practitioner of any mental, physical, or emotional limitations prior to the session.

3. Release of Liability

By attending any session, you agree to release and hold harmless Reiki West Los Angeles, its owner, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, costs, or damages — whether known or unknown — arising from your participation.

4. No Legal Action Clause (Non-Disparagement + Arbitration)

You agree not to initiate or pursue any form of legal action, lawsuit, defamation claim, or public slander against Reiki West Los Angeles based on your participation, communication, or the outcome of services.

Any dispute will be handled privately, first through respectful communication, and if necessary, through third-party mediation or arbitration — never public or court-based proceedings.

5. Media, Privacy & Consent

Clients may be offered the opportunity to record video or audio for progress-tracking, testimonials, or healing reflection. These recordings will never be shared publicly without your verbal or written consent.

By agreeing to be recorded, you grant permission to Reiki West Los Angeles to privately hold or (with permission) share clips, photos, or words related to your experience.

Likewise, you agree not to post or distribute private content — including text messages, voice notes, recordings, or behind-the-scenes videos — without written permission from Reiki West Los Angeles.

This ensures mutual energetic and emotional trust.

Booking a session constitutes your full agreement to these terms. You agree that this serves as your legal acknowledgment of participation, consent, and liability release.
